Gardening has been shown to have significant health benefits. It encourages people to engage in an activity that promotes wellness & connection to nature. For example, most gardeners consume more fruits and vegetables than non-gardeners. When gardeners choose to grow food organically, they’re reducing their exposure to pesticides and ingest higher nutrient content meals. Gardening also helps reduce stress and improves mental health.
